OMDC is a non-profit NGO. We are a charitable organization that specializes in the education and empowerment of less-privileged children, youth and women through working with them at an individual level. Our nationally-recognized programmes include schools, remedial education, computer training, adult literacy, skills training, Plantation, Environment Awareness, microfinance and social entrepreneurship.
OMDC is a professionally managed committed NGO active in community capacity building and issue based networking. The primary focus of OMDC is on the problems of the poor in their struggle to obtain a life of justice and dignity. Environment stabilization, food security and empowerment of the community for self-governance are the most important components of its mission. Gender justice, natural resource management, and livelihood security are our primary areas of concern.
Organization for Management & development Centre (OMDC) was organized in the year 2014-15 with an objective to develop the Socio economic Status of the Down trodden living in the rural areas. Initially it was performed with the support of Rahbar Foundation. During this year this organization started its activities in the following sectors:-
Vocational Training Centre, Brick field School, Note Book Distribution, Health Check-up Camp, Health Awareness Programme, Eye Protection Camp, Blood Donation Camp, Plantation, Environment Awareness Programme, Road Safety Awareness Programme, Education Awareness, Orphan Girls Marriage, Blanket Distribution, Water Distribution, Medical Finance Support, Student Scholarship, Certificate Distribution, Food Distribution For Poor People, Motivation for game and sports, Saree Distribution.
In keeping with its philosophy of 'Real Work Real Change', OMDC Foundation , an NGO in Bhubaneswar, India to support the underserved, has taken its intervention into the interiors of India, reaching the unreached in the remotest of rural areas and urban slums with our services and making this helping foundation in India, the best NGO in India.
Here at OMDC, Utilisation of funds in the most efficient manner is given the outmost priority. We make sure that all the funds received by us is utilised in the right way, so as to benefit the society, in there betterment. As seen above through the graph, the distribution of funds can be understood, that happens within the Organisation from Administration, Fundraising to Programme Expenses.
Following a lifecycle approach, OMDC Foundation, among the top NGO in India, works intensively through focused welfare projects in four major areas, such as :– EDUCATION, HEALTHCARE, SELF-EMPLOYMENT, DISASTER RELIEF, SOCIAL WELFARE. So far, we have been able to directly impact the lives of over 1 million children and families.
