Support and save the life of newborn Baby Boy Mohammed Aamer

OMDC Foundation has received an application from Brother Shaik Rasool and sister Kahkashan Sultana to support & save the life of their newly born son Mohammed Aamer. This is their first child after three miscarriages so they are emotionally very much attached to this child. Sister Kahkashan Sultana gave birth to a premature baby on January 29, 2021, and her baby had many complications. The baby was underweight, had breathing problems also diagnosed to be suffering from D33/Preterm/SGA/LBW/HMD/Humidified O2/IUGR/LSCS, NIV, etc.

Currently, he is admitted to the Neonatal Intensive care Unit(NICU) at Thumbay Hospital New Life, in Chaderghat, Hyderabad. Based on the preliminary investigation baby was advised to undergo in-patient treatment as medical management for 12 weeks, in  NICU with costly antibiotics, life-saving ventilator support, etc. The total treatment estimated cost would be around ₹6.40 Lakhs that equal to $8,000 approx. The father is not able to afford the cost of the treatment and requesting help.

Brother Shaik Rasool lives in Hyderabad with his wife and runs a photocopy shop for survival. He makes around ₹10,000 - ₹15,000 ($200) per month which is barely enough to pay the house rent and take care of the family. He does not have any other source of income or any savings. They utilized whatever cash they have in hand and sold all the jewelry to pay the hospital bills so far. Now, they are exhausted and making a humble appeal to the community to help them to save the life of their newborn. They are eligible to receive Zakat and Sadaqah donations and they are looking for just $8,000 only.
